Adidas mouthguard OPRO Platinum

The three-layer mouthguard from adidas/Opro features a durable outer layer for increased impact protection, a flexible inner layer for comfort and fit, and "Air Spacers" for a maximum cushioning effect with optimum protection. The Platinum mouthguard also includes an intermediate absorption layer.

Here the patented, unique lamella technology from Opro is used. Opro mouthguards do not contain gel inside the shell; instead they have upright lamellae (fins). During the fitting process in hot water, these fins are spread by the teeth and wrap around the dentition to ensure maximum protection. This prevents excess gel—which in conventional mouthguards often moves to the sides—from affecting fit and comfort.

The innovative stretch zones (three small notches distributed around the edge of the mouthguard) also allow the shell to expand for a wide bite and contract for a narrow bite. This ensures the perfect mouthguard for everyone.

In addition, the Opro-Platinum mouthguard is supplied with a patented "fork" to easily lift the mouthguard from the hot water by the handle. The prongs on the handle also prevent you from biting through the mouthguard while fitting it, so you can bite down with maximum pressure to tailor the Opro-Platinum perfectly to your bite.

The supplied instructions are available in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. A QR code linking to a fitting video is also printed on the back of the packaging.

A great case with a secure twist-lock is, of course, included.
