The Kingz Ultralight Gi is a competition favorite, and version 2.0 promises the same durability and fit with an updated new design.
The jacket is made from ultralight 420 GSM pearl weave fabric, crafted from a single piece of cloth that, thanks to its tightened construction, provides high durability while reducing the weight of unnecessary seams. The lapel is made from synthetic heat-resistant vulcanized rubber, covered with the same cotton/polyester ripstop as the pants. The pants are made from 8 oz cotton/polyester ripstop material, feature double-reinforced knee padding, and a custom-made, stretch drawstring that allows a secure, tight knot.
The aesthetic is clean and streamlined; embroidery on each arm, the neck, and along the leg replaces the woven patches of the 1.0. No compromises were made on weight with this gi — it is the lightest in our range, perfect for the competition mat.
